Maturing Adult Ministry

Maturing Adult Ministry

Maturing Adult Ministry is ministry geared to Catholics who are age 55 and up. Oftentimes this is referred to as “Senior Ministry” and can be limited a seniors club, or a group of persons dedicated to assisting senior parishioners with their daily living needs like transportation or meal preparation. In fact, the population of maturing adults is growing in South Jersey, and is quite diverse in age, life stage, ethnicity, and physical and spiritual needs.

Maturing Adult Ministry focuses on the spiritual, physical and psychological growth needs of Catholics over age 55. The parish toolkits presented below are intended to guide parishes in developing a plan for an active Maturing Adult Ministry.
