Providing young adults with opportunities, time, and places within the diocese to gather, pray, share, and serve.
You are the light of the world. A city built on a hilltop cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp to put it under a tub; they put it on the lampstand where it shines for all in the house. In the same way your light must shine, . . . so that, seeing your good works, they may give praise to your Father in heaven. (Mt 5:14-16)

Who are emerging adults? Somewhere between an adolescent and an adult. This term – “emerging adults” – is fairly new having only been coined in the year 2000. This article seeks to explain who this group of 18-25 year olds are who have been influenced by recent cultural shifts in our country. It also looks at some of the ministry challenges present and provides resources for those in ministry to effectively reach out to members of this age group.
