This presentation offers suggestions to local parishes of how to cultivate an active core of Catholics to serve as ministers of evangelization in their parishes, homes, neighborhoods, and workplaces.

Approach to Implementation:

This two-and-a-half-hour work session includes a PowerPoint presentation, group discussion, and planning to develop leaders as effective evangelizers and organize an evangelization team in the parish.

  • Organization of a Parish Evangelization Team
  • Techniques to Invite People to Be Part of the Team
  • Number of Members and Different Functions
  • Network Within the Parish
  • Determine Parish Needs

Expected Resources:

The Office of Lifelong Faith Formation – Evangelization will provide the training for each participant and a folder with materials, including a handout for evangelization teams and scripts for pulpit and bulletin invitation announcements.
